Deaths

If an American citizen passes away while in Indonesia, please notify the U.S. Consulate General in Surabaya or the Consular Agency in Bali (if the death occurs in Bali). The U.S. Consulate can assist in arranging disposition and repatriation of remains and personal effects of American citizens who pass away in Indonesia. The Consulate will also process the U.S. Report of Death once the local death certificate and related documentation are received.
